Complete your key stage 2 pupil registration by Friday 21 March. Children cannot be registered for the level 6 tests after this date.

Logging in

To log in, enter your registered email address and password then select 'Log in'.

Your registered email address is the email address used to access NCA tools during the 2014 assessment cycle. Web-based email addresses (such as Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo) cannot be used on this website.

Headteachers and local authority super users should review nominated users within their organisation to ensure they should continue to have access to NCA tools.

Passwords

All passwords will be reset at the end of September 2014. When you log in for the first time after that, you will be prompted to change your password.

All passwords for NCA tools must contain at least eight characters and include three of the following:

  • one uppercase character (eg A, B, C)
  • one lowercase character (eg a, b, c)
  • one numeric character (eg 1, 2, 3) and/or
  • one special character (eg £, &, *).

For example: Security#2

All new users will need to create a new password. To do this, you will need to:

  • click on the 'Create new password' link in the 'Log in' section
  • enter your registered email address and select 'Submit'
  • go to your inbox for this registered email address
  • click on the unique link in the email that will enable you to reset your password
  • in the new screen, check that your email address is correct, enter a new password and then enter it again to confirm before selecting 'Submit'.

Emails from NCA tools

We are aware that some users have been experiencing difficulties receiving system-generated emails from the NCA tools website, including the emails that allow users to create a new password.

To make sure you receive emails from the NCA tools website, please ensure your ICT department accepts all email addresses ending in 'education.gov.uk'. If your system cannot be amended to accept all emails from NCA tools, please ensure that assessments@education.gov.uk is added to your organisation's safe senders email list. Including these email addresses on the safe senders email list will allow emails to be sent straight through to recipients and not blocked by spam filters.
